Statements

Statements are official account documents that summarize activity, balances, and holdings for a specific time period. You can view, download, and store your statements directly in the portal.

What are statements?

Statements typically include:

  • Beginning and ending balances
  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Investment transactions
  • Holdings and positions
  • Performance details (for investment accounts)

They provide a record of what happened in your account during a given month or quarter.

Where to find your statements

  1. Log in to your portal.
  2. Select Documents from the main navigation menu.
  3. Choose Document Vault.
  4. Use filters (such as account or date) to locate the statement you need.

If your advisor has enabled account-level documents, you may also find statements directly within a specific account view.

How to download a statement

  • Open the statement from the Document Vault.
  • Select Download to save a copy to your device.

Downloaded files are typically in PDF format.

How often statements are available

Statement frequency depends on the type of account and your firm’s setup.

Common schedules include:

  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Annually (for tax-related documents)

If you’re unsure when to expect a statement, your advisor can clarify your account’s schedule.

Going paperless

Many firms offer paperless delivery, which allows you to:

  • Receive statements electronically
  • Access documents faster
  • Reduce paper mail

If paperless delivery is available, you can update your preferences in your account settings or by contacting your advisor.

 

If you don’t see a statement

If a statement is missing:

  • Confirm you’re viewing the correct account
  • Check the date range or filters
  • Make sure the reporting period has closed
